How to play Big Bass Vegas 1000
Big Bass Vegas 1000 plays on the usual Big Bass grid of five reels, three rows and 10 fixed paylines. Stakes run from 0.10 to 250 per spin outside the UK, where limits are much lower, and the ante bet adds 50% to the stake.
The base game is built around reaching free spins. Three or more scatters start the bonus, and when only two land the game can try to rescue the trigger with a nudge or a hook that pulls a reel up to show a third scatter.
Slotcatalog's figures put the hit frequency at about 13.6%, or one win every seven to eight spins, and the natural bonus at roughly one in 113 spins. That is a fair guide to how long you may wait between features.
Big Bass Vegas 1000 features explained
The defining feature is the pair of fishermen. Instead of one collector wild, free spins use a red and a blue fisherman, and each has its own progress trail above the reels.
- Red and blue fisherman wilds: each one substitutes for paying symbols and collects the total of every fish money symbol on screen. If both land on the same spin, both collect.
- Fish money symbols: values of 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1,000x the stake.
- Separate trails: every fourth fisherman of the same colour awards 10 more spins and raises that colour's multiplier to 2x, then 3x, then 10x.
- Scatter help: a nudge or a hook can turn two scatters into three in the base game.
Two trails mean two chances to reach the 10x stage, and a spin where both fishermen land collects the same fish twice. That is the main reason the bonus has more upside than a single-collector Big Bass game.
Free spins and random features
Three, four or five scatters award 15, 20 or 25 free spins, more than the 10 to 20 offered in Big Bass Splash and its 1000 edition. Retriggers add 10 spins at a time as either trail moves up.
Three random features cover the spins where the pieces do not line up. Dynamite adds fish money symbols when a fisherman lands with nothing to collect. A bazooka transforms symbols when wilds are present but no fish are showing. A hook pulls a reel to bring in a fisherman when fish land without one.
The round ends when the spins run out. Once a trail reaches its final stage, that colour cannot retrigger again, so a long bonus usually needs both colours to keep landing.
Big Bass Vegas 1000 bonus buy options
| Feature | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Ante bet | 1.5× bet per spin | A higher chance of triggering free spins, at 96.52% RTP |
| Free Spins | 100× bet | Starts the standard bonus |
| Super Free Spins | 450× bet | The bonus where only three fishermen of one colour are needed to move up a level |
The standard buy at 100x is the series norm. At a 1.00 stake that is 100.00 for a round that opens with at least 15 spins. Super Free Spins at 450x is a different proposition: needing three fishermen instead of four per level makes the 3x and 10x stages much easier to reach on both trails.
Bonus buys are not available in the UK, and some casinos remove them elsewhere. We found no separate RTP figures for the two buys.
Every buy raises the cost per round sharply. Set a budget first and treat each purchase as one high-risk bet.
Big Bass Vegas 1000 RTP, volatility and max win
The Big Bass Vegas 1000 RTP is 96.53%, the figure on Pragmatic Play's game page. Lower versions at 95.52% and 94.52% exist, so it is worth checking the paytable at your casino.
Volatility is medium, lower than the high rating of the 2024 original. Expect more frequent small and mid-sized bonus results and fewer rounds that end with almost nothing.
The max win is 15,000x the stake. Slotcatalog estimates it at about one in 1.88 million spins, so treat it as a ceiling, not a target.
What makes Big Bass Vegas 1000 different
Most Big Bass games, from the original Big Bass Bonanza to Big Bass Splash and Big Bass Splash 1000, use one fisherman and one retrigger meter. The Vegas branch is the exception. Its two coloured fishermen each run their own trail, so the bonus can progress on two fronts at once.
Compared with Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe, the 2024 game it is based on, the 1000 edition makes three main changes. The max win rises from 5,000x to 15,000x, volatility drops from high to medium, and the top fish value moves from 5,000x to 1,000x, with the extra upside coming from multipliers instead. The Super Free Spins buy also rises from 300x to 450x.
Big Bass Rock and Roll, a Stake exclusive, uses the same two-fisherman system with a music theme, a 5,000x cap and a higher RTP. If you like the twin-trail idea, it is worth comparing the two.
Who Big Bass Vegas 1000 suits
Big Bass Vegas 1000 suits players who know the series and want a bonus with more moving parts. Watching two trails fill is more engaging than the single meter of the older games, and medium volatility keeps sessions steadier than most 1000 editions.
It is less suited to players who want action in the base game, which is as plain as in any Big Bass title. Those chasing the biggest number in the series will also find higher caps elsewhere.

Our verdict on Big Bass Vegas 1000
Big Bass Vegas 1000 is one of the more interesting entries in a crowded series. Two fishermen with separate trails give the bonus a real tactical shape to watch, the free spin counts are generous, and a 15,000x cap with medium volatility is a well-balanced pairing.
The base game remains thin and the 450x Super buy is steep, though it does change the maths of the round in a meaningful way. With a 96.53% standard RTP, it is a sound pick for fans of the twin-fisherman format.
Overall = 8.1×0.25 + 7.2×0.25 + 7.3×0.2 + 7.2×0.15 + 7.3×0.15 = 7.5. The score rates the game, not your odds of winning.
