How to play Sweet Bonanza 2500
Sweet Bonanza 2500 uses the same 6x5 candyland grid as every game in the series. Fruit and sweets fill the reels, there are no paylines and no wilds, and 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen make a win. Groups of 10 or 12 pay more.
Each win triggers a tumble. Winning symbols burst, new ones fall in, and the chain continues until no new wins form. The four candy shapes are the premium symbols, led by the red heart, while apples, plums, watermelons, grapes and bananas fill the lower end of the paytable.
Review data shows a win on about 43% of spins, though many of those wins are below the stake. Bets run from 0.20 to 240 per spin on most international sites. With the most expensive Special Bet, a single round can cost up to 60,000.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 vs Sweet Bonanza 1000 and the original
The Sweet Bonanza family now has several editions on Stake. Here is what this one changes.
- Original Sweet Bonanza (2019): the classic grid and paytable, smaller bombs and a max win of about 21,100x.
- Sweet Bonanza 1000 (2024): bombs up to 1,000x, a 25,000x cap, a 25% ante and two buys at 100x and 500x.
- Sweet Bonanza 2500 (2026): bombs up to 2,500x and the same 25,000x cap, two ante levels, two Super Spin modes and three buys, one of which adds a total multiplier.
- Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter: a separate edition with a 50,000x max win.
The base game and free spins rules are the same as the 1000. What is new is the menu around them. The Special Bets let you pay much more per spin for better trigger odds or guaranteed multipliers, and the top buy introduces a running total multiplier, something the original and 1000 bonuses do not have.
The max win did not move. A higher bomb cap without a higher ceiling means the 2,500x bombs help you reach the cap more often, rather than raising it.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 free spins and candy bombs
Four or more lollipop scatters trigger 10 free spins, and the scatters pay 3x, 5x or 100x for four, five or six. Three or more lollipops during the round add five more spins.
Candy bomb multipliers land during free spins with values from 2x up to 2,500x. They stay on the grid through the tumble sequence, then their values are added together and applied to that sequence's total win. In the standard round there is no running multiplier, so each tumble sequence is scored on its own.
In the normal base game there are no bombs at all. The only way to see them outside free spins is through the Super Spin modes described below. Natural triggers come about once in 450 spins at the standard bet. If a win would pass 25,000x, the round ends and pays the cap.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 Special Bets and Super Spins
| Option | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Ante Bet 1 | 2.5x bet | About eight times the normal chance of free spins |
| Ante Bet 2 | 12x bet | About ten times the normal chance of free spins, with bombs of at least 20x |
| Super Spin 1 | 20x bet per spin | At least one candy bomb on every spin, at a random value |
| Super Spin 2 | 250x bet per spin | At least one candy bomb worth 25x or more on every spin |
These are the main reason the 2500 exists. Unlike the 1000, there is no cheap 25% ante. The entry level already costs 2.5x the bet, and the steps after that rise fast.
Super Spins change how the game plays. Bombs land in the base game on every spin, but scatters are switched off, so free spins cannot trigger. Super Spin 1 at 20x suits players who want regular multiplier action. Super Spin 2 at 250x per spin is a very high-stakes mode. Every Special Bet raises the cost per round, so size them to your balance.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 bonus buy options
| Feature | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Buy Free Spins | 100x bet | 4+ scatters guaranteed, standard 10 free spins |
| Buy Super Free Spins 1 | 500x bet | Free spins with every bomb worth at least 20x |
| Buy Super Free Spins 2 | 1,000x bet | Free spins with bombs of at least 10x and a total multiplier that collects every bomb and boosts all later wins |
Super Free Spins 2 is the most interesting option in the game. The total multiplier works much like the one in Gates of Olympus, so a round that collects several bombs early can grow sharply. It is also the most expensive: at a 1 unit bet, one round costs 1,000 units.
Bought rounds do not change the long-run maths in your favour, and many will return less than their price. Feature buys are unavailable in some countries, including the UK.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 RTP, volatility and max win
The standard Sweet Bonanza 2500 RTP is 96.52%, the figure on Pragmatic Play's game page and on OLBG and casinos.com. SlotCatalog lists lower 95.53% and 94.54% versions as well, and casinos choose which to run, so check the rules screen.
Sweet Bonanza 2500 labels itself medium volatility on its intro screen, while some sites rate it higher: SlotCatalog and casinos.com say high and OLBG very high. The base game pays often but small, so the balance tends to drift down between bonuses, and the pricier Special Bets and buys put far more risk into each round than the badge suggests.
The Sweet Bonanza 2500 max win is 25,000x the bet, the same as the 1000 edition. SlotCatalog puts the odds of the full cap at about 1 in 66.7 million spins, slightly better than the 1 in 71 million it gives for the 1000. In practice both caps are long shots.
Is there a Sweet Bonanza 2500 demo?
Yes. Pragmatic Play serves a free Sweet Bonanza 2500 demo with play money, and you can open it on this page without an account. Use it to test the Super Spin modes, which feel very different from the standard game.
Demo luck is no guide to real-money results, but it shows how fast each Special Bet uses up a balance.
Who Sweet Bonanza 2500 suits
Sweet Bonanza 2500 suits experienced players with larger balances who want more control over how each spin plays, and who like the idea of base game multipliers through Super Spins. The total multiplier buy also gives fans of Gates of Olympus a reason to try it.
Casual players will find the Sweet Bonanza 1000 simpler and cheaper to play. The 2500 offers no higher cap, and its options cost more.
Our verdict on Sweet Bonanza 2500
Sweet Bonanza 2500 keeps everything players know about the series and adds the most flexible menu it has had. The 2,500x bombs make the 25,000x cap a little more reachable, Super Spins finally put multipliers into the base game, and the 1,000x Super Free Spins 2 buy brings in a total multiplier that the original and 1000 bonuses lack. The 96.52% RTP holds up well.
The trade-off is cost. There is no cheap ante, the Special Bets start at 2.5x the bet, and the best features sit behind prices of 250x to 1,000x. If you play at modest stakes, the 1000 edition does most of the same job for less. If you want options, try the 2500 demo first and keep strict limits.
Overall = 8.0×0.25 + 7.0×0.25 + 8.3×0.2 + 7.5×0.15 + 6.5×0.15 = 7.5. The score rates the game, not your odds of winning.
