Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier slot review

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is Hacksaw Gaming's reworked version of its 2024 street-fighting slot, keeping the 5×4 grid and Fist Wild Reels but adding Megamultiplier symbols. Three of them pay the 15,000x max win on the spot, and one alongside the scatters turns either bonus round into a version where every win is multiplied again.

How to play Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier

The Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier slot runs on five reels and four rows with 14 fixed paylines. Matching symbols pay from left to right, starting with three of a kind. The Fighters are the premium symbols and pay 5x to 10x the bet for five on a line, while the A, K, Q, J and 10 symbols pay up to 2x.

Independent databases list bets from 0.10 to 50 per spin, though Stake's listing shows a much higher ceiling. Before you start, a Choose Your Fighter screen lets you pick a side. It is cosmetic only and has no effect on results.

The Fighters belong to two teams, Red and Blue, and that matters for the main feature. Fists of one colour gain power by smashing through Fighters of the other team, so the grid is set up as a constant brawl between the two sides.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier features explained

  • Fist Wild Reels: a Fist symbol expands up its reel into a full wild reel, but only if the expanded reel would be part of a win. As it rises, every opposing Fighter or Wild it punches through adds a multiplier. Possible values run from 2x to 200x, the multipliers on one reel are added together, and several Fist reels in the same win also add up. Only one Fist can land on each reel.
  • Megamultiplier symbols: these land on reels 1, 3 and 5. Three at once award the 15,000x max win immediately. They can appear in the base game and during BonusHunt FeatureSpins.
  • Megamultiplier bonus trigger: one Megamultiplier landing together with three or four FS scatters upgrades the bonus to its Megamultiplier version.

The instant max win is the headline addition. It means the top prize does not depend on stacking multipliers through a whole bonus round; it can arrive on any base game spin. The odds of three Megamultipliers landing together are not published, and with only three possible reels they are likely to be very long, so treat it as a lottery ticket built into every spin rather than something to plan around.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier free spins and bonus games

Hacksaw describes four bonus rounds, all starting with 10 free spins. Two extra scatters during a round add two spins, and three add four.

  • Throwdown (3 scatters): both teams start at Victory Level 3. Each time a team's Fist punches an opposing Fighter or a Wild, that team earns a Victory Point. At three points it wins an Epic Drop respin with at least as many Fists of its colour as its level, and its level rises by one, up to 5.
  • Ultimate Throwdown (4 scatters): the same rules, but both teams start at Victory Level 4, so the first Epic Drop already guarantees four Fists.
  • Throwdown Megamultiplier (3 scatters plus 1 Megamultiplier): the Throwdown rules plus a Global Megamultiplier beside the grid. It takes a random value from x2 to x10 each spin, and all wins from that spin are combined and multiplied by it.
  • Ultimate Throwdown Megamultiplier (4 scatters plus 1 Megamultiplier): Ultimate Throwdown with the same Global Megamultiplier.

The Megamultiplier versions are where the round can run away. An Epic Drop with four or five multiplied Fist reels is already strong, and a further x2 to x10 on top of the combined result is what makes the 15,000x cap realistic inside a bonus rather than only through the instant trigger.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier bonus buy options

FeatureCostWhat you get
BonusHunt FeatureSpins3× bet per spinAbout five times the usual chance of a bonus; Megamultipliers can land (96.26% RTP)
Uppercut FeatureSpins50× bet per spinAt least three Fists on every spin; no scatters (96.32%)
Epic Drop FeatureSpins250× bet per spinAt least four Fists on every spin; no scatters (96.29%)
Throwdown110× betDirect entry to the 3-scatter bonus (96.25%)
Ultimate Throwdown275× betDirect entry to the 4-scatter bonus (96.27%)

These prices are high. At a 1.00 bet, Throwdown costs 110 and Ultimate Throwdown 275, well above the 60x to 100x entry price on many Hacksaw games. Ten Epic Drop FeatureSpins cost 2,500. The listed buy RTPs are all close to the base figure, so the main difference between them is variance, not return.

The Megamultiplier versions of the bonuses do not appear on the buy list, so the only route to them is landing a Megamultiplier with the scatters. Bonus buys raise the cost per round sharply and do not change the house edge in your favour.

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier RTP, volatility and max win

The standard Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier RTP is 96.23%, a house edge of 3.77%, according to Hacksaw's own game page and Stake. Hacksaw also lists 94.29%, 92.28% and 86.28% versions for operators, so the information screen inside the game is the place to confirm what you are playing.

Hacksaw rates volatility at 5 out of 5, the top of its scale. Stake and the independent reviews we checked call it high. We list it as very high because of the provider rating and because so much of the value sits in rare events: the instant max win, Megamultiplier bonuses and Epic Drops.

The Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier max win is 15,000x the bet, and Hacksaw, Stake and the reviews all agree. At a 50 top bet that is 750,000. It can be paid directly by three Megamultiplier symbols, or built through a Megamultiplier bonus with large Fist multipliers and a high Global Megamultiplier.

How it differs from the original Fist of Destruction

The original Fist of Destruction from 2024 has the same 5×4 layout, Fist Wild Reels with team multipliers, Throwdown free spins and Epic Drop respins. Stake lists it at 96.30% with a 10,000x cap.

The Megamultiplier edition changes three things. The cap rises to 15,000x, a 50% increase. Megamultiplier symbols add an instant max win in the base game. And both bonus rounds gain a Megamultiplier version with a Global Megamultiplier on every spin. The trade-off is a slightly lower standard RTP, 96.23% against 96.30%. The look is largely unchanged apart from the new symbols and bonus screens, so if you liked the original, this is the same fight with a bigger finish.

Who Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier suits

This slot suits players who want very high volatility and the chance of a big result from any spin. The team battle in the bonus gives the free spins a clear sense of progress, and fans of the original will find the upgrade meaningful.

It does not suit small budgets that need steady returns, and the 110x and 275x buy prices are steep. If you want something gentler from Hacksaw, a medium-volatility game such as Le Prechaun is a better fit. Our Stake review covers the casino we use.

Our verdict on Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier

Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is a worthwhile upgrade rather than a lazy re-release. The Fist Wild Reels and team Victory Points already made the original a lively game, and the Megamultiplier symbols add both an instant 15,000x trigger and a stronger version of each bonus. The 96.23% RTP is fair for the genre.

The cost is volatility. This is a game of long waits and rare spikes, the bonus buys are priced above most Hacksaw titles, and lower RTP versions down to 86.28% exist. It is best for experienced players with a budget sized for very high variance, and best tried in demo first.
