Mega Roulette 3000 strategy guide

Mega Roulette 3000 is Pragmatic Play Live's upgraded version of its 2021 hit Mega Roulette: a single-zero wheel where up to eight random numbers get multipliers of 50x to 3,000x on straight-up bets. To fund those bigger multipliers, a plain straight-up win pays only 19:1. Straight-ups carry the best RTP at 97.50%, every other bet 97.30%, so the gap is small and the real choice is how much swing you want.

RTP 97.50% straight-up, 97.30% other betsMax win 3,000×Roulette

Key points

  • Straight-ups return 97.50%, all other bets 97.30%: a difference of about 2.00 per 1,000 wagered.
  • A plain straight-up pays 19:1; about 16 of the 36 units a winning straight-up returns on average come from rare Mega hits.
  • Compared with the original Mega Roulette, more of the value sits in big multipliers, so results swing harder.
  • Martingale, D'Alembert and Fibonacci change the shape of results, not the house edge.
  • Fix a loss limit and a spin count before you start.

How Mega Roulette 3000 works

Mega Roulette 3000 uses a standard European wheel and layout: numbers 0 to 36 with one green zero, spun by a live presenter in a studio built for this version. You place chips during a short betting window. Once bets close, the game picks up to eight Mega Lucky Numbers at random and gives each a multiplier between 50x and 3,000x. Then the ball is spun on the physical wheel.

If the ball lands on a Mega Lucky Number and you have a straight-up bet on it, the multiplier replaces the normal payout. If the winning number is not a Mega number, a straight-up pays 19:1 rather than the classic 35:1. Every other bet, from splits to red and black, pays standard roulette odds and never gets a multiplier, even when it covers the Mega number that wins.

How it relates to the original Mega Roulette

Pragmatic Play launched Mega Roulette in 2021 and released Mega Roulette 3000 in October 2025 as an enhanced follow-up. The table below sets the two side by side using the most widely reported figures.

Mega Roulette (2021)Mega Roulette 3000 (2025)
Mega numbers per round1 to 5up to 8
Multiplier range50x to 500x50x to 3,000x
Plain straight-up pays29:1 (reported)19:1
Straight-up RTPsources disagree97.50% (maximum)
Other bets RTP97.30%97.30%

The key change is where the straight-up return lives. With a single zero, a straight-up wins one spin in 37, so at about 97.5% RTP a winning straight-up must return roughly 36 units on average. In the original, the flat 29:1 win already returns 30 of those, leaving around 6 for the multipliers. In Mega Roulette 3000 the flat win returns 20, so about 16 units now come from Mega hits. Same price, but far more of the value is packed into rare large wins. That is what the bigger 3,000x top end costs you: plain hits feel small and dry spells feel longer.

The 3000 version also adds a new studio, autoplay and a detailed bet history. The underlying wheel, bet types and outside payouts are unchanged.

Bets, payouts and RTP

The odds table above lists every main bet. Pragmatic Play gives a maximum RTP of 97.50%, which applies to straight-ups; the other bets sit at 97.30%, the normal single-zero figure. The difference is real but small: on 1,000 wagered, the expected loss is about 25.00 on straight-ups and about 27.00 on red, dozens or splits.

That 2.00 per 1,000 is tiny next to the spread of results. 100 spins at 1.00 on red cost about 2.70 on average, and most such sessions end within about 20 units of that. 100 spins at 1.00 on one number cost about 2.50 on average, but there is about a 6.5% chance of no win at all, and an ordinary win only returns 20. Most straight-up sessions end behind; the few that hit a high Mega multiplier end far ahead.

Mega Lucky Numbers and multipliers

  • How many: up to eight numbers each round. With eight marked, the winning number is a Mega number about 22% of the time; you only collect if your straight-up is on it.
  • How much: 50x to 3,000x, set at random for each Mega number. The multiplier replaces the 19:1 payout rather than adding to it.
  • Which bets: straight-ups only. A split or corner that includes a winning Mega number pays its usual 17:1 or 8:1.

Pragmatic Play does not publish how often each multiplier appears. Treat the 3,000x top value as a ceiling, not a target. The 97.50% rating is what counts: averaged over many rounds, the Mega numbers are worth about 16 units per winning straight-up, and that value has already been taken out of the plain 19:1 payout.

Betting systems: Martingale, D'Alembert and Fibonacci

The strategies table gives the short verdicts. Here is the maths.

Martingale doubles your even-money bet after each loss so that one win recovers everything plus one unit. Red or black loses 19 spins in 37 because of the zero. Starting at 1.00 with 255 to cover eight steps (1, 2, 4 up to 128), you lose all 255 about once in 207 sequences, and over 200 sequences the chance of at least one wipe-out is about 62%. A 5,000 table limit allows 13 steps and 8,191 at risk; that wall comes about once in 5,800 sequences, or about a 16% chance over 1,000 sequences. Each good sequence wins one unit. The long-run cost is still 2.70% of all money wagered.

Martingale on straight-ups to chase the better 97.50% RTP does not work either. A single number can miss for 100 spins, and a plain 19:1 win only covers 19 losing spins at flat stakes, so doubling or raising stakes escalates far beyond any table limit.

D'Alembert adds a unit after a loss and removes one after a win. It assumes wins and losses balance; the zero means they do not. Stakes climb slowly, so losses build more gently, but you still bet more while behind.

Fibonacci steps up 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 after a loss and two steps back after a win. Ten straight red losses, about a 1 in 780 event per start, cost 143 units with the next bet at 89. Twelve in a row cost 376.

A staking system only decides how much you put through the table. Your expected loss is 2.50% to 2.70% of that total, whatever the system.

Covering the table and other coverage plans

All 37 numbers: 1.00 on every straight-up costs 37 per spin and always hits. A plain number returns 20, a loss of 17. A Mega number returns 50 to 3,000. Because straight-ups are rated 97.50%, the average cost is about 0.93 per spin. Fifty spins means 1,850 wagered and an expected loss of about 46, delivered as a steady 17-unit drip with occasional large returns.

Two dozens: 1.00 on two dozens wins about 65% of spins for a net 1.00 and loses 2.00 otherwise. You win more often than you lose, yet the RTP is still 97.30%.

Mixed cover: a main bet on red or a dozen plus one or two small straight-ups keeps most of the stake in low-swing bets while giving you a shot at the multipliers. It does not change the house edge, but it lets you choose your risk level.

Bankroll and session plan

Set two numbers before your first spin: the most you will lose this session and how many spins you will play. Worked example: a 100 budget, 1.00 per spin, 150 spins. You wager 150 in total, so the expected loss is about 4.05 on red or about 3.75 on straight-ups. What the session feels like is very different:

  • All on red: you will almost never lose the full 100. Most sessions end within about 25 units of where you started.
  • All on one number: about a 1.6% chance of no win in 150 spins, and five or six plain 20-unit hits still leave you clearly behind. The session depends on whether a Mega number lands on your pick.
  • 0.80 on red plus 0.20 on a number: close to the swing of red, with a small slice in the multipliers.

Stop rules that help: quit when the loss limit is reached, when the planned spins are done, or after a big Mega hit, putting at least your starting budget aside. Never raise stakes to recover losses.

Myths: trackers, hot numbers and due multipliers

Stats sites record recent winning numbers and which Mega multipliers landed. That is history, not a forecast. Each spin of a fair wheel is independent, and the Mega numbers are drawn by a random number generator after bets close, so nobody can bet on them in advance. A number that has missed for 150 spins is no more likely next spin, and a high multiplier is never due after a quiet spell.

Colour streaks, cold dozens and repeating numbers are the same story. None of them change the 1 in 37 chance of any number, and none can push the return above 97.50%. Paid prediction tools for this game have no edge to sell.

Mega Roulette 3000 FAQ

What is the RTP of Mega Roulette 3000?

Pragmatic Play lists a maximum of 97.50%, which applies to straight-up bets. Every other bet type returns 97.30%, the standard single-zero figure.

What is the best bet in Mega Roulette 3000?

Straight-ups have the highest RTP at 97.50%, but only by 0.20 points, and they carry by far the most variance. Even-money bets return 97.30% with much smaller swings.

How much does a straight-up pay in Mega Roulette 3000?

19:1 on a plain number. If the winning number is a Mega Lucky Number and you have a straight-up on it, the multiplier of 50x to 3,000x pays instead.

What is the difference between Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000?

The 3000 version marks up to eight numbers instead of five, raises the top multiplier from 500x to 3,000x and lowers the plain straight-up payout to 19:1. It also has a new studio, autoplay and bet history.

Does Martingale work in Mega Roulette 3000?

It produces frequent small wins and occasional large losses. Table limits stop the doubling, and the long-run cost stays 2.70% of everything wagered on even-money bets.

Can I predict the Mega Lucky Numbers?

No. They are drawn at random after betting closes. Tracker history does not change the odds of the next round.
