Gator Hunters 2 slot review
Gator Hunters 2 is Nolimit City's return to the swamp, a 6×5 scatter pays slot where Eaters clear the grid and Revolvers fire bullets into a total win multiplier. The sequel adds a Fire Zone that upgrades any special symbol landing inside it, raises bullet values to 3,000x and lifts the max win from 25,000x to 30,000x.

How to play Gator Hunters 2
The Gator Hunters 2 slot runs on six reels and five rows. Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid make a win. Winning symbols are removed and replaced from above, so a spin keeps going for as long as new wins form. The four high symbols are the swamp characters, and the low symbols are fireworks, pots, arms, flip flops and cans. Small hits of eight or nine symbols pay between 0.15x and 2.5x, while fourteen or more pay 5x to 60x.
Each spin begins with a Fire Zone placed at random on the grid, in a 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or 5×6 size. Special symbols that land inside it are upgraded, so where things land matters as much as what lands.
Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin. The hit frequency is 18.28%, slightly higher than the original game, but more than four spins in five still return nothing.
Gator Hunters 2 features explained
Wins are only the start of a Gator Hunters 2 spin. Once the cascades stop, Eaters and Revolvers take over, and the Fire Zone decides how strong they are.
- Fire Zone upgrades: a Wild inside it gets a x2, x3 or x10 multiplier, an Eater becomes a Super Eater, a Bonus becomes a Super Bonus and a Revolver gets higher bullet values.
- Eater: lands one at a time and acts only when there are no wins. It eats a random number of symbols and then turns into a Wild, which can set off new wins. A Super Eater also gives its Wild a x2, x3 or x10 multiplier, and Wild multipliers add together.
- Revolver: activates when no Eaters are left and no wins remain. Each Revolver holds bullets and empty chambers. A bullet adds its value to the total win multiplier, which then applies to the spin's win. Up to six Revolvers can be in play.
- Revolver types: a normal Revolver spins once, a Super Revolver spins again after hitting a bullet, and a Super Fire Revolver makes every Revolver with bullets spin again when it hits.
- Bullet values: eleven colours, from Purple 2x, Dark Blue 3x and Sky Blue 5x up through 10x, 20x, 30x, 50x, 100x and 200x, to White 1,000x and Golden 3,000x.
- xTra: after a round you may be offered another spin that keeps the total multiplier and any loaded Revolvers, if it costs no more than you just won.
- Side Hustle: optional add-on bets on events such as a character being eaten, a Super Eater appearing or the total multiplier reaching 100x or 200x.
The total multiplier only pays out if there is a win for it to multiply, so a spin can hit a large bullet and still return little. That is the main source of frustration and of the game's big moments.
Gator Hunters 2 free spins
Gator Hunters 2 has two free spins modes, both triggered by Bonus symbols.
| Mode | Bonus symbols | Spins | Key difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gatornado Spins | 3 | 7 | Total multiplier carries over between spins |
| Fire Gatornado Spins | 4 | 9 | Fire Zone always 4×4 or 5×6, every Revolver is a Super Fire Revolver |
During the feature each Bonus symbol adds one spin and each Super Bonus adds two. Any upgraded Revolver keeps its remaining bullets, and these are fired before the next spin. The total multiplier keeps growing across the round, but it is only applied on spins where a Revolver hits a bullet.
Fire Gatornado is where the cap becomes realistic. With every Revolver a Super Fire type, one bullet can make all loaded Revolvers fire again, and a large Fire Zone upgrades more of them. Nolimit City puts natural free spins at about 1 in 205 spins.
Gator Hunters 2 bonus buy options
The bonus menu combines direct buys and per-spin boosters. Prices below come from Bigwinboard and casinos.com, with the Bullet Juicer and boosters confirmed by Nolimit City.
| Option | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Gatornado Spins | 80× bet | 7 free spins |
| Lucky Draw | 285× bet | A random free spins mode |
| Bullet Juicer | 390× bet | 7 Gatornado Spins with every Revolver fully loaded |
| Fire Gatornado Spins | 700× bet | 9 free spins with Super Fire Revolvers |
| Bonus Booster | 3× bet per spin | A Bonus symbol guaranteed on reel 2 |
| Kill Spin | 8× bet per spin | A Revolver guaranteed, bullets of 10x or more |
| Overkill Spin | 50× bet per spin | A Super Revolver guaranteed, bullets of 50x or more |
| Massacre Spin | 1,400× bet per spin | A Super Fire Revolver guaranteed, bullets of 1,000x or more |
At a 1.00 bet, Fire Gatornado costs 700 and Massacre Spin costs 1,400 for a single base game spin. Kill Spin at 8x is the cheapest way to see a Revolver fire, though a guaranteed Revolver does not guarantee a win to multiply. Side Hustles add between 0.2x and 10x to the stake; Bigwinboard lists, for example, a 0.2x add-on that pays 1,022x if the total multiplier reaches 100x.
Nolimit City does not publish the RTP of each buy in the sources we checked. Buying raises the cost of each round sharply, and losses add up quickly at these prices.
Gator Hunters 2 RTP, volatility and max win
The standard Gator Hunters 2 RTP is 96.00%. Bigwinboard reports 94% and 92% versions in some markets; Stake's game page shows the 96.00% version.
Nolimit City and Fruity Slots rate the volatility as extreme, while Bigwinboard and casinos.com say high. We list it as very high. The return depends heavily on Revolver bullets meeting a win, and that does not happen often.
The Gator Hunters 2 max win is 30,000x your bet. Nolimit City calls the cap Natural Selection: once total wins pass 30,000x the round ends and the cap is paid. The provider puts the odds at 1 in 17 million spins, which is short for a Nolimit City game of this size. At the 100 top bet, the cap is worth 3,000,000.
What changed from Gator Hunters
The original Gator Hunters launched in August 2025 with a 96.11% RTP and a 25,000x cap. The sequel keeps the Eaters, Revolvers and total multiplier, and changes most of the rest.
- Fire Zone: new. It replaces the original's fixed upgrades with a random area that upgrades symbols spin by spin.
- Bullets: the original used ranges such as 2x to 8x and topped out at 2,000x. The sequel has eleven fixed values up to a Golden 3,000x.
- Free spins: the original had four modes, from 10 Swamp Spins to 18 Apex Predator Spins, triggered by three to six Bonus symbols, with random upgrades. The sequel has two shorter modes of 7 and 9 spins, plus Super Bonus symbols that add two spins.
- Max win: up from 25,000x to 30,000x, with odds moving from 1 in 16 million to 1 in 17 million.
- Boosters: the original sold a 2.5x Bonus Booster, a 90x Revolver Roll, 400x Super Fire Spins and 1,200x Massacre Spins. The sequel prices them at 3x, 8x, 50x and 1,400x, and adds the Bullet Juicer and Side Hustles.
The RTP slips from 96.11% to 96.00%, and the hit rate rises a little from 17.23% to 18.28%. Free spins come slightly more often too: about 1 in 205 spins against 1 in 236.
Who Gator Hunters 2 suits
Gator Hunters 2 suits players who like busy slots where several systems interact, and who enjoy the tension of Revolvers spinning while the multiplier climbs. Fans of the original will recognise everything and find more on top.
It suits players who want quiet, steady sessions much less. Bigwinboard called it busy and chaotic, and the multiplier only pays when it meets a win. Starting at the 0.20 minimum is a sensible way to learn how the Fire Zone and Revolvers interact. You can read more about where we play in our Stake review.
Our verdict on Gator Hunters 2
Gator Hunters 2 is a busier, sharper version of the original. The Fire Zone gives every spin a positional question to answer, the eleven bullet values make Revolver sequences easier to read, and Fire Gatornado with Super Fire Revolvers is a strong top bonus. A 30,000x cap at 1 in 17 million is also more reachable than many Nolimit City ceilings.
The price is complexity and the loss of the original's four-tier free spins ladder, which some players will miss. Side Hustles and a crowded buy menu add clutter, and the buy RTPs are not published in the sources we found. For experienced players who enjoy very high volatility, it is a worthwhile sequel.
Overall = 7.0×0.25 + 8.3×0.25 + 8.4×0.2 + 7.8×0.15 + 7.0×0.15 = 7.7. The score rates the game, not your odds of winning.
